Eleanor Roosevelt High School

Eleanor Roosevelt High School was opened in September 2002.

It is the product of a grass-roots effort of parents and community leaders to establish a comprehensive, challenging high school for students on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We opened in a temporary location in Chelsea with 105 ninth graders and a staff of eight and currently ERHS has over five hundred students and over forty staff members.
