Advantage Testing Foundation The Advantage Testing Foundation seeks to advance the aspirations of students of every socioeconomic background by expanding their educational opportunities.

The Advantage Testing Foundation identifies and cultivates future leaders of every background, expanding the opportunities of our nation’s extraordinary young people. Our guiding principles are innovation and efficiency. By forging partnerships with preeminent universities and like-minded public service organizations, we seek to pool the outstanding academic resources already available in this nation and help direct them to where they are needed most. The AT Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 public charity. We rely upon public support and in-kind contributions from institutions of higher learning. In addition, we benefit from the resources of Advantage Testing, a private tutorial service dedicated to academic rigor, long-term educational development, and the proposition that tests are powerful vehicles for learning.

Sometimes, taking a chance on yourself is where it all begins.

The Advantage Testing Foundation supports students with exceptional potential through programs designed to open doors, build confidence, and create opportunities.

TRIALS, a partnership with Harvard Law School and NYU School of Law, helps talented and motivated college students of modest means prepare for admission to the nation’s leading law schools through an intensive summer program and year-long mentorship and support.

The Advantage Testing Foundation/Jane Street Math Prize for Girls brings together approximately 250 young female mathematicians each fall for a challenging competition in mathematical creativity and insight, encouraging young women to become the mathematical and scientific leaders of tomorrow.

Sometimes, the moments that feel like setbacks are actually redirecting us toward where we are meant to be.

For TRIALS alum Kanyinsola Ole, the journey to law school was not always a straight line. From an LSAT score that did not go as planned, to continuing to study while working, to taking time to explore opportunities beyond law school, each experience became part of a much bigger picture.

Along the way, TRIALS became part of her journey, providing the preparation, community, and perspective to keep moving forward.

Today, Kanyinsola is attending her dream law school, and these photos tell the story behind getting there: the uncertainty, persistence, unexpected opportunities, and decisions that made the destination possible.

Four consecutive deans of Harvard Law School have served on the Advantage Testing Foundation’s Board of Trustees: Elena Kagan, Martha Minow, John Manning, and—as of this month—John C.P. Goldberg.

That succession is a measure of something specific: in 2009, Harvard Law School became a founding partner of TRIALS—hosting, teaching, and standing behind the scholars who come through it. Every summer, twenty students arrive at Harvard Law School or NYU School of Law on full scholarship to prepare for law school admission. More than 90 have been admitted to Harvard Law.

We are grateful to Dean Goldberg for joining us, and to the three deans who preceded him.

What an incredible six weeks!

This summer, TRIALS 2026 brought together an amazing group of scholars from different backgrounds, experiences, and communities for six weeks of intensive training at Harvard Law School.

Beyond the classroom, our scholars explored the campus, learned from inspiring speakers and special guests, built meaningful connections, and grew alongside one another throughout the summer.

To our TRIALS 2026 Scholars: we hope you enjoyed this experience, challenged yourselves, supported one another, and created memories and friendships that will continue well beyond the program. We are so excited to see what you accomplish next, and we hope you keep cheering each other on at every stage of your journeys.

Some people leave a mark on TRIALS long after the summer ends, and Lady is one of them.

After joining TRIALS as a scholar in 2023, she returned as a teaching assistant in 2024 and 2025, mentoring new scholars, reviewing applications, filming scholar stories, and bringing endless positivity (and yes, that smile) to our community.

This summer, she’s pursuing new opportunities, and while we miss having her with us, her words are a reminder of what makes TRIALS so special: the summer program may last five weeks, but the community and support last far longer.

Thank you, Lady, for everything you’ve given to TRIALS. We’re cheering you on, just as you’ve always cheered on everyone else. ❤️
