💚🩷 Supporting Harlem, One Dollar at a Time! 🩷💚

As part of our Black Dollar Days initiative, 21 Sisters gathered at The Edge Harlem for our kickoff event. We intentionally chose a typically slower evening to support the restaurant in a meaningful way and maximize our economic impact within the community.

Together, we generated more than $1,200 in purchases, demonstrating the power of collective support and the importance of investing in Black-owned businesses.

When we come together, our dollars make a difference. Thank you to every Sister who showed up, supported, and helped strengthen Harlem’s economic future.

✨ A Beautiful Afternoon of Sisterhood, Wisdom & Legacy ✨

On May 9th, our Pearl and Golden Sisters gathered for an inspiring Fireside Chat filled with heartfelt conversation, cherished memories, and the timeless wisdom that continues to strengthen our sisterhood.

As Tau Omega Chapter celebrates 101 years of service and impact in Harlem, we were honored to spend time with the women whose dedication, leadership, and commitment have helped shape our legacy. Their stories reminded us of the power of sisterhood, the importance of service, and the responsibility we share to carry our mission forward.

Thank you to all of our Pearl and Golden Sisters who joined us and shared their experiences, insights, and words of encouragement. Your legacy continues to inspire generations of women who follow in your footsteps.

💗💚 Here’s to honoring the past, celebrating the present, and building the future together.

📣 Advocating. Educating. Mobilizing.

The Tau Omega Chapter’s Connection and Advocate for Social Justice Committee proudly hosted our 2026 Legislative Breakfast, bringing together community leaders, elected officials, advocates, and residents for meaningful dialogue on the issues impacting Harlem and beyond.

This annual gathering provided an opportunity to discuss legislative priorities, voting rights, civic engagement, social justice, and policies that affect the communities we serve. Through informed conversation and collective action, we reaffirmed our commitment to ensuring that every voice is heard and every vote counts.

Thank you to our distinguished speakers, honored guests, community partners, and attendees who joined us in advancing solutions, fostering collaboration, and strengthening our democracy.

As members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, we remain dedicated to advocating for equity, justice, and empowerment while continuing our legacy of service to all mankind.
