It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of former Kurt Hahn School Social Studies teacher, Mr. Joe Seidel.

Mr. Seidel dedicated his career to educating, inspiring, and guiding generations of students. His passion for history, commitment to learning, and positive impact on our school community will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Seidel’s family, friends, colleagues, and the many former students whose lives he touched throughout his years of service.

May he rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

This is not only for students and families—BUT FOR EVERYONE!!! This coming Saturday, May 30th, 10am-1pm, all 3 schools will be hosting many organizations that will service and help the community. Food will be provided. Come out and take advantage!

When school is out, it’s the perfect time to build a lifelong skill! NYC Parks is offering a FREE weeklong swimming program focused on water safety and basic swim skills for children ages 6–17, right here on campus!

So what’s Explore Week all about? Over the course of 4 days, students dive deep into a topic they might not typically explore during their regular classes. It’s all about curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning!

On the final day, students come together to showcase what they’ve learned through presentations—each one unique and reflective of their experience. 🎤🎨

Not many schools across the city offer opportunities like this, and we’re so lucky to be one of them! 💫
