As someone who is neurodivergent and living with high-functioning anxiety, I don't only use my tasbih for counting my adhkar. They provide a tactile experience that helps me to soothing nerves when I feel elevated. I select which tasbih I want to use based on weight, texture, and size. This is another reason why I have so many. This custom made tiger's eye strand was gifted to me in Dakar by one of my dear brothers and fellow murids. Sometimes when I am 'fiddling' with my prayer beads, I am calming my system while also praising my Lord.

So next time you judge folks for how they choose to use tools to worship, don't.

Before I go, I just wanted to remind you of a few things:

1. You might not need new skincare, but you do need to wash your pillowcases more often.

2. Don't be arguing with nobody son with them long text paragraphs. Put your phone on DND and go take a nap, sis. It ain't worth your time.

3. Drink more water.
