Our STEAM Innovators program has expanded into in-school partnerships this year! 😄
Alongside Salvadori educator Shreya, students at The Eagle Academy for Young Men of Harlem and PS 58X recently presented their final designs and 3D prototypes to STEAM professionals from Perkins Eastman , Vagus Workshop, Benyo Studio, Parsons School of Design , and Group. 🌟
Through this process, students not only built technical skills in STEAM fields, but also learned how to communicate ideas, collaborate as designers, and advocate for spaces that better serve their communities. 🌟
We are grateful to our partner educators, design professionals, and supporters who made this work possible. ☺️
We look forward to bringing these student visions to life—and celebrating with the community at upcoming renovation days and ribbon-cutting ceremonies!
STEAM Innovators continues to connect students with the skills, tools, and real-world experiences to shape the community around them.

Salvadori students from The LEAD School recently visited the International Masonry Institute where
they connected with architects, engineers, and AEC professionals to learn more about the many roles involved in design and construction. 🌟
Brick by brick and tile by tile, students worked alongside IMI team members to explore scaffolding,
materials, and the machinery used throughout the construction process. The visit provided a real-world
look into day-to-day construction and offered insight into how the built environment is developed.
Thank you to the International Masonry Institute and National Women In Roofing for making this
experience possible and for providing students with meaningful STEAM career exploration opportunities.
