Today we have a blessed configuration in the sky. The Sun in Aries, the Moon in Leo, and Jupiter in Sagittarius come together today to give us a GRAND FIRE TRINE!

A grand trine is a harmonic configuration that is formed when three planets in signs of the same element (fire, earth air, or water) come together to form an equilateral triangle. In sacred geometry, an equilateral triangle is symbolic of a divine state of being. Planets in grand trines work together happily in a closed-circuit fashion, with each planet able to easily express the nature of the element it resides in.

Grand trines are notorious for providing feelings of ease, contentment, and plain old luck. If you have a grand trine in your birth chart, know that you’re very blessed as you get to carry such energy with you throughout your life!

The rest of us have to wait until days like today, when the transiting planets combine to form such a configuration which we can benefit from.

Today’s grand trine is in the fire element (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), which is an energy that provides plenty of warmth, energy, enthusiasm, self-motivation, intensity, drive, optimism, and faith. Today we have the annual New Moon in Aries, happening at 4:50 AM EST. The New Moon is a time of rebirth, when the divine masculine (Sun) merges with the divine feminine (Moon) to create new life here on earth.

This is a time of new beginnings and new endeavors in our lives. It is a time to plant new seeds, make changes, and to pursue new opportunities.

This is doubly so when it happens in the sign of Aries, for this is the first sign of the zodiac and represents new life. Aries energy is courageous, pioneering, and seeks fresh experiences. It is a sign of leadership with a zest for life.

With this New Moon, we are being asked to take a courageous leap of faith into new territory. Where this is happening for you individually, of course, depends on where the New Moon is happening in your chart.

Mars, the ruler of Aries and this New Moon, is currently in the sign of Gemini. Gemini is an air (mental) sign concerned with perception, learning, communication, and its environment. Gemini is a mutable sign which seeks variety, so expect to be channeling the New Moon energy into at least *two* different projects.

This New Moon happens alongside the current Pluto/South Node conjunction in Capricorn. This aspect is very much about purging outdated structures in our lives which are no longer helpful to our spiritual growth.

Also of note, four planets are in their signs of rulership or exaltation: Sun in Aries, Venus in Pisces, Jupiter in Sagittarius, and Saturn in Capricorn. Planets in rulership/exaltation are very strong, and activities started under such skies tend to give exceptional results.

Altogether, the symbolism of the stars indicates that while we are doing some heavy-duty psychological cleansing, this is opening up a chance for a challenging, rewarding, and successful adventure into uncharted territory.

Get ready for big changes in your life! Uranus, the change-bringer, entered the earthy sign of Ta**us early this morning. It will remain in Ta**us for the next seven years. Uranus seeks to liberate us from old conditioning, although the eventual freedom it brings tends to happen through unexpected and often disruptive events. Whenever Uranus is prominently triggering something in your chart, expect the walls that you thought were safely built to come crumbling down.

Uranus rules the unexpected, sudden change, strokes of insight, genius, disasters, rebellion, revolutions, liberty, astrology, futurism, miracles, and awakenings. It rules geniuses, inventors, innovators, rebels, revolutionists, futurists, scientists, astrologers, and all those who bring a new vision to the world.

Uranus entering Ta**us fuses two energies that couldn’t be more different if they tried! Ta**us is the most stable energy of ALL the signs, being of the earth element and endowed with a fixed nature. Ta**us energy typically avoids change at all cost, and seeks stability, security, peace, and comfort above all else. Uranus energy is the opposite of “secure.”

Ta**us energy seeks to support and sustain, but Uranus is about to break up any outdated structures we’ve built. Collectively, over the next seven years, we will experience a new vision emerging in Taurean areas: money and banking (see crypto currency), social security systems, our relationship to nature and natural health, our relationship to our possessions, the beauty industry, and the collective values of society overall.
