Money Moxie is a series of interactive workshops that empowers women with the tools they need to save, budget and invest for their future. Sessions are limited to small groups so learning is easy, questions are welcomed and the support is there. We specialize in small groups, networking groups, individuals and personal finance "Tupperware parties"! You bring your friends, we'll provide the learning!
***Money Moxie is especially committed to helping 'under-served' groups learn about and understand money management. We work with groups of women, actors/artists, members of the beauty industry, new moms, freelancers, small business owners and more! As women wait longer to settle down and get married, many of us are also putting off financial planning. We’re making money (cha-ching!), budgeting (kinda) and saving (maybe). But at the end of the day, will this be enough, especially considering the following:
- Women in the US have a life-expectancy of 80 years old, and live an average of 5- 7 years longer than men.
- Retirement is changing drastically, and will likely be quite different for the generations that retire after the Baby Boomers. Pensions are going away and Social Security reform is imminent. Bottom-line, it’s up to us to fund our retirement.
- Women are the least prepared for retirement, since we spend fewer years in the workforce (often taking off several years to care for children or elder family members) and also earn less money than men do (.77 for every dollar a man earns).
