We are a guitar school located in NYC. We offer group classes, private lessons and online lessons fo We offer classes for kids, teens and adults.
NYGA's guitar program offers small group classes and private lesson instruction in a wide range of styles for the acoustic, classical and electric guitar. We introduce students to all different styles of music, allowing them to get a well-rounded sense of the many ways to play guitar.

Our instructor Elysa released a new book called “The Book of Rumba Strums for Spanish, Classical & Flamenco Guitar” 🎸📖🎶 This book includes 27 songs by Elysa. Our student Sarah is taking our Online Intro to Classical/Flamenco Guitar 8-week group class for students that play guitar but are beginners to this style. She took class 7 of 8 thus far and is already performing at our recital! Your progress is unbelievable Sarah!🗽🎸💻

Our student Richad started in February 2020 with an in-person absolute beginner group guitar class. Halfway through his class we had to close our studio and switch over to online classes. Richad continued with us throughout the pandemic and has grown so much as a guitarist. His rhythm is incredible!!! Here he is playing at our online student recital! 🗽🎸💻
