Hi, I'm Jen! I'm a NYC mama to a toddler, a lover of being outside, and your teacher for Tinkergarten classes in Central Park and beyond! I started teaching Tinkergarten classes after finding myself at a loss for how to keep my daughter active and engaged when we visited parks and playgrounds. Not only does Tinkergarten give us so many great ideas for creative play, it teaches myself, my daughter, and our class families invaluable life skills that reach far beyond our nature classroom!
This Spring, we focus on creativity—the ability to imagine original ideas or solutions to problems and make them happen. We’ll help kids develop creative mindsets and strategies that they can use throughout their lives to invent new things, solve problems, express their ideas and feelings, and to nurture relationships. And we’ll do it all through enriching, outdoor play!
