***Not all data is created equal***
At this year’s NABE (National Association for Bilingual Education) conference in Chicago, I’ll be presenting on what data actually matters when assessing bilingual learners’ literacy growth—and why that distinction is critical for both educators and administrators.
Too often, schools are surrounded by numbers that are easy to collect but hard to act on. In this session, we’ll dig into the kinds of literacy data that truly inform instruction and program design for bilingual students, and how to move beyond surface-level metrics toward data that reflects real language development and program success.
🗓 Wednesday, February 11 | 2:20–3:10 p.m.
📍 McCormick Place, Lakeside Center (Level 3)
If you’re NABE, I’d love to see you there and continue the conversation.
