The Rebozo is a fancy term for a woven fabric that can help lift baby into position, alleviate back pain, and support you and baby through contractions.
I’m still learning about all the techniques you can utilize with one but I’m excited to use this with my mamas in labor. You can even get one for pregnancy and postpartum! 🌻

We met through labor doula training in the summer, and have just embarked on Bird Song Brooklyn 's SEEN mentorship program this solstice --> equinox. An important mantra for birth. Tune in and listen to your body, it has wisdom beyond what we are told.

Love this from themodernmomma.org especially the part about holding space, this is a key role of being a doula... to hold the space for women to be exactly who they need to in their birthing experience.

Worth remembering in the moments of pain, self-doubt, negative inner voices.
