Great book written to help kids understand how things will look & feel different as they transition back to elementary school. As we all do, kids have a lot of questions about what to expect during this new school year. This book was written to help you have thoughtful discussions with your children & to help answer their many questions.

This show was excellent! Children of all ages should watch. So informative.

Thanks Dana’s Kids for sharing this! LEGO amazing idea!

LEGO is now encouraging all of their old consumers to pass on their beloved bricks to a child in need—and they're paying for the shipping costs.

I discovered this toy years ago 😊👍🏻Happy to see it’s finally catching on! Plus-Plus blocks provide endless amounts of creativity, fine motor practice, color recognition, spatial concepts & more without the frustration of having to follow the directions in a kit or being left with random toy pieces once your original creation falls apart. You imagine it...you create it, it’s that simple! And even better, it’s portable and easy to store! Once you start playing you won’t want to put them down! A win win in my book. -plus

Parents, stop what you're doing: we've found the holy grail of restaurant toys.

I originally posted this article two years ago but as I prepare to send my youngest...my baby...to her first day of kindergarten tomorrow I thought it was more than worth the re-share. Moms & Dads brace yourself for an emotional day but don’t forget to take it all in. Be proud of your little ones and be proud of yourselves. This journey has only just begun...

Dear New Kindergarten Mom, This morning, I bundled my boys into the stroller and went out for one last impromptu morning walk. Max will be starting kind...

Play teaches children to grow, to learn, & to create memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t ever forget the power of play & how important play is to child development! Wow Nature Valley...way to go!

Nature Valley Canada recently sat down three generations of families and asked them one simple question, "What did you like to do for fun as a kid?" Take a mome

This is a “must read” for any therapist, special education teacher, or parent of a preschool child in need of a special education preschool. There are so many children that need our help and we need support to keep our programs open and running effectively.

Across the city, parents of preschoolers with special needs have struggled to find services the education department is required to provide.
