Carrie’s areas of expertise include mulit-sensory reading, writing, math, editing, executive functioning, social skills, study skills, IEP's, multiple intelligences, effective assessment, and meaningful observations of the whole child. Carrie provides every family with a formal assessment of the student's learning style(s) and an in-take appointment with the parents. Once we decide on in-school or in-home tutoring, you can expect regular communication and ad hoc session summaries. Carrie will make ongoing social/emotional observations as well as recommendations for goal setting and improvements to the student's workspace.
