First meeting of Vassar Viols!

We have a robust group, and yes the baroque flute player is also playing viol. These students are very lucky to have access to the collection of early instruments donated by the Waverly Consort as well as viols on loan from the Viola da Gamba Society of Greater New York and me, and two viols from a collection tracing the history of string instruments that live in the Treasure Room of Skinner Hall. I'm really looking forward to working with these enthusiastic musicians!
