To kick off Big World Kitchen for the final two weeks of camp, our Blue Jays got to work prepping their kitchen gear! 🌎👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
We can’t wait to see what’s cooking in each classroom and discover all the delicious places around the world they’ll be exploring! 🌍🍴✨

🏕️🌲 This week, the Ducklings embraced the great outdoors as we celebrated Camping & Outdoor Adventures Week!

Our little campers gathered around a cozy “campfire” inside a tent for a fun-filled sing-along, where laughter, music, and imagination brought the camping experience to life. Through pretend play, songs, and storytelling, they strengthened their language skills, built friendships, and explored the joy of working together.

🏅 **Olympics & Sports Mania Week** was one for the books! 🏃‍♀️⚽🏀

This week, our campers discovered that sports are about so much more than winning. Through exciting games, team challenges, and friendly competition, they learned the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and encouraging one another every step of the way.

Most importantly, they had fun, built new friendships, and created memories that will last long after the final whistle. Here’s to celebrating effort, sportsmanship, and the joy of playing together! 💙✨

🌱🧪 Over the past few weeks at summer camp, our campers have been immersed in our Gardening & Eco Labs, where nature meets scientific thinking, curiosity, and hands-on exploration!

During the first few weeks, they discovered what seeds and plants need to grow and thrive;sunlight, water, and lots of care. This week, we challenged their thinking by asking, ”What about root vegetables? Do they need sunlight? Do they need water?”🤔🥕🌿

To bring their learning to life, we conducted an exciting science experiment using turmeric, baking soda, and hand sanitizer. The campers watched in amazement as the reaction unfolded before their eyes their excitement and curiosity were absolutely priceless! ✨

🏅 This week at summer camp was all about the Olympics & Sports Mania! ⚽🏀🎾

While it may look like we’re just having fun (and we definitely are!), our campers are learning so much through play. Every game and challenge helps build collaboration, active listening, following directions, understanding rules and sequences, problem-solving skills, and gross motor development—just to name a few!

Watching our campers cheer each other on, work together, and celebrate their accomplishments reminds us that some of the best learning happens while they’re moving, playing, and having

What a fantastic start to Summer Camp! 🎪☀️

Our first week was packed with excitement as we celebrated our **Carnival** theme! Campers enjoyed carnival-inspired games and activities, danced to fun music, explored nature through gardening and eco labs, practiced their soccer skills, and cooled off with plenty of water play. 💦⚽🌱

The laughter, smiles, and endless energy made for an unforgettable first week. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store! 🌈❤️

The Narwhals and Puffins class has spent the entire year exploring their hopes and dreams. From aspiring race car drivers and talented bakers to future fashion designers creating beautiful dresses, their imaginations and ambitions have truly shined.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing teachers for nurturing their creativity and helping bring their dreams to life. And thank you to all the parents who took the time to visit the exhibition and celebrate the children’s hard work, growth, and achievements.✨💙

🌴🇬🇩 June is Caribbean Heritage Month! The Seahorses took a trip to the beautiful island of Grenada, where they explored the island’s rich culture, vibrant Carnival celebrations, and the delicious foods and spices that make Grenada famous around the world. Known as the “Spice Isle,” Grenada gave us the opportunity to learn about nutmeg, cinnamon, and so much more while celebrating the beauty and diversity of Caribbean culture!

Today, the Dolphins had a special visit from The Self Portrait Project (the photobooth artists from our gala)! 📸✨
We learned about self-portraits and how their unique process allows each person to be both the photographer and the subject. By looking into a mirror and choosing exactly when to take the photo, children are given complete control over how they wish to represent themselves.
After learning how the photobooth works, each Dolphin had the opportunity to step inside, strike a pose, and capture self-portraits in their own unique way. The results were full of personality, creativity, confidence, and joy!💙🐬

The people who make up our community and village mean so much to us and our little ones and so do the animals who become part of it too. 🩵
The Owlets and Manatees had some very special visitors today! Everyone say hello to Jimmy and Lucious! 🐾 Their visit brought so much joy, curiosity, laughter, and connection to our classrooms.
These shared experiences help remind us that learning and love can come from all around us, both human and animal alike. ✨
