We enjoyed our pajama day/DEAR crossover today! Thanks to all who joined!

In celebration of our Winter Break and all the hard work we have accomplished during the first half of the year, we are hosting a winter version of everyone's favorite morning activity Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.) tomorrow! All families are invited to join us for a morning of reading and to wear their comfiest pajamas for Pajama Day!

Doors will open at 7:20 am for D.E.A.R. and you can go straight to your students' class.

Looking for fun things to do over our two week holiday break? Take a look at this offering from the Museum of Math!

Elementary school students, join MoMath for a one-day vacation mini-camp on Monday, December 30! Students will work together to make hands-on models as they learn how to think like a mathematician about dimensions, using the exotic lens of fractals. MoMath offers two camp groups: Epsilons for 1st through 3rd graders, and Deltas for 4th through 6th graders. The Museum's talented staff will keep campers engaged and entertained with age-appropriate activities in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

A BIG THANK YOU to all our families who participated in the Multicultural Thanksgiving Potluck today! It was great to experience food from all different cultures and to spend time as a community with students, parents, and staff.

We hope this was a great kickoff to your Thanksgiving Break and we look forward to seeing you at our next parent event!

Inwood students got to learn about fire safety from NYPD firefighter Johnny. Students even earned fireman hats and prizes! Ask your student to count the smoke detectors in your home today!

Shoutout to SPORTS CLUB who visited the Billie Jean King National Tennis Facility today for a special field trip! Students learned about tennis and got a behind the scenes look at the cool building!

Thanks to the Inwood 1 community for attending our Drop Everything and Read this morning! We love when our families come to read with students. What a great way to start the day!
