For many in our field, the events of that day remain vivid memories. For an entire generation, 9/11 happened before they were old enough to remember it—or before they were even born.

On September 9th, The American Medical Association (AMA) announced the release of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2027 code set which go into effect on January 1, 2028. These include the recently revised code set for adaptive behavior services. We highly recommend that providers become educated on what these codes mean and how to accurately report these services.
