As we observe Memorial Day, the Virginia Association for Behavior Analysis extends heartfelt recognition to the courageous individuals who have served our country. May this day be a reminder of the values of service, sacrifice, and dedication.

The Virginia Legislative session is officially over, but that doesn't mean you can't make a difference! We encourage you to invite your local delegate and senator to your organization. Let them see what you do, who you serve, and the impact you’re having firsthand. The window to do this is May through September. By October, legislators’ availability shrinks considerably.
The more direct exposure legislators have to the work of our members, the stronger our position when the session clock starts again. Not sure who represents you? Go to https://whosmy.virginiageneralassembly.gov/ to search by your organization’s address.

AI is rapidly changing how we work in behavior analysis—but ethical, client-centered use must come first. AI should enhance our work—not replace the human decision-making that defines quality care.
