D is for… drums! 🥁

Drum week is always a big hit — pun intended! Our young musicians love playing individual hand drums along to songs like “Walking in the Jungle” and our kid-friendly version of “We Will Rock You.”💚

We also gather for a drum circle with our giant drum, use drumsticks on our classroom drum wall, and read Drum City, a story about a boy who brings together a neighborhood band using found drums like pots, pans, and garbage cans.
