Yeshiva Har Torah Yeshiva Har Torah is a Centrist Orthodox yeshiva for boys and girls. At Yeshiva Har Torah, every child is a valued individual!

Our goal is to educate children in a warm, caring environment that brings out the unique qualities in our students. We strive to develop a love for learning within our students while giving them the skills and confidence to succeed. Our dedication to Halacha and Torah values, in combination with a sophisticated and challenging curriculum in Jewish and General Studies, encourages the pursuit of excellence in all academic areas. Our passionate commitment to Religious Zionism and Medinat Yisrael provides our students with an understanding of the meaning and centrality that the State of Israel has in our lives. Kavod Habriot (respect for humanity) is deliberately integrated into the fabric of our school as we prepare our students to make positive contributions within society.

You never know what can happen when you simply ask.

Recently, a student asked Mr. Brody, our beloved 8th grade science teacher, if he would put on tefillin.

Today, during the עשרת ימי תשובה, he did.

For the first time since his Bar Mitzvah, Mr. Brody put on tefillin — a special moment made even more meaningful during these days of reflection, growth, and return.

There are so many lessons in one moment.

The power of a student to inspire a teacher. The reminder that sometimes all it takes is having the courage to ask. And the beauty of a teacher who is open to being inspired by his students, just as much as he inspires them every day.

We talk so much about the impact our teachers have on our students.

Today was a beautiful reminder that sometimes, it goes the other way too. ❤️

Starting the new year with gratitude 💛

Our 5th grade girls decorated their own “Thank You Hashem” jars. This is their place to add a note whenever they have something they want to thank Hashem for.

Throughout the year, they’ll fill their jars with moments big and small. And at the end of the year, they’ll be able to look back and remember just how much there was to be grateful for. ✨

A beautiful way to begin the year noticing the ברכות all around us. 💛

Last year, one student had an idea. 🏐

She loved volleyball and wanted to bring it to YHT…so she did.

What started as one 8th grader’s idea became a new volleyball league, a team, and an opportunity that will continue for the students who come after her.

That’s what it looks like when students don’t just participate in their school community, they help shape it. 💙

We can’t wait to see where YHT Volleyball goes from here! 🏐

POV: You had challah this Shabbat and suddenly remembered THIS night 🥹🍞

We couldn’t let a new school year begin without looking back at one of our favorite nights from last year.

Our YHT Challah Bake brought our community together for an incredible evening of connection, inspiration, and, of course, lots of challah.
