We are forever grateful of our collaboration with in Parque Habitat en el Vedado where we ignited artivism with the children and families.

The healing energizing power of art was on full display as the children created beautiful pieces visibly engaged with their creative consciousness.

As artivist we believe in our interconnectedness with all creation so when we make art that raises joy we are also engaging in an act of resistance disrupting the status quo while also deepening our relationship with one another.

Thank you beautiful Cuba for opening your heart to our harmony. We hope to increase our collaborations even more in the near future.

We amplified an artivist activation in by connecting with the children and youth in La Plaza Vieja who brought their brilliant creativity and joy to make art with us.

Thank you to all the children and families who planted seeds of love, resilience, and solidarity by making artivism a reality with us.

During the activation we distributed essential household items to help families during the ongoing crisis.

More pictures of our work to follow. Thanks to all who helped us make this journey a reality.

This Sunday, 11am-1pm, Project Attica is hosting an art exhibition at the Sunnyside Community Services Center, featuring art created by members of the community, along with Project Attica. “Our Art Identity” is more than just an art show- it’s a chance to share your story, connect with others, and celebrate our shared struggles and aspirations. Join us for an afternoon of art, food, drinks, and discover how we can come together to create a sense of belonging. What do you hope to share through your identity? Share your thoughts and join the conversation! See you there!

This project is supported by funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, Statewide Community Regrants Program (formerly the Decentralization program) with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature, and administered by Flushing Town Hall.
