Today, Caitlin Hasson, our Director of Nursery & K Placement, was on the ground at REDS, A Montessori School on the UES in NYC. 👟
This is what building your placement team looks like.
When we recommend a school to your family, it’s because we’ve walked the halls, met the educators, and observed how the youngest learners are met where they are. Not because we read about it. Because we’ve been there.
Caitlin came back with notes, impressions, and the kind of nuanced read you can only get in person, the warmth of the teachers, the rhythm of the day, the texture of the classrooms.
Every visit, every conversation, every observation goes into the plan we build for the families we serve.
✨ Vision, Realized.

A candid conversation for parents of high school students who care deeply — and wonder if they might be caring too much.
You follow up on assignments. You monitor stress levels. You lie awake wondering if you’re doing enough.
What if the very effort that comes from love is making things harder — for both of you?
Join us Tuesday, May 12 at 12 PM ET for Letting Go Without Stepping Back — a free virtual fireside reimagining what it really means to support your teen through high school.
I’ll be in conversation with two voices I deeply respect: ✦ Sarah Bergin, EEC’s Director of College Counseling ✦ Sue Groner, The Parenting Mentor
We’ll talk about staying engaged without overstepping, building independence without distance, and why trusting the process — and the team in your corner — lightens the load.
Your job isn’t to manage your teen’s life. It’s to support the person they’re becoming.

Spring touring is officially underway — and we are loving every minute of it. 🌸
Our latest stop? The Buckley School — a K–8 all-boys school on the Upper East Side that completely lives up to the buzz. The intentionality here is palpable. Boys lead, participate, and thrive in every corner of this school, and the community around it is something special.
We walked away with so much to share with our families. Stay tuned — more from our spring tours coming soon!

Looking at Private Schools (nursery-high or boarding school) this fall?
Spring tours offer something you simply can’t get online: a real feel for whether a school is the right fit.
When you walk the halls, observe classrooms, and connect with faculty, you’re not just gathering information; you’re answering the most important question:
👉 Can I truly see my child here?
In our latest blog, School Placement Advisor, Sophie Roberts, breaks down:
✔️ Why spring is the ideal time to tour
✔️ What to look for (beyond the brochure)
✔️ How to assess true “fit,” not just features
If you’re navigating this process right now, or supporting families who are, this is a must-read.
