As a result of the surging covid cases, a memorial service for Ned will take place some time in the summer. However, a virtual memorial platform has been created for Ned's loved ones, friends and dance community to pay their respects. At Ned Williams Forever Missed you can add and view pictures, stories and videos of Ned. The website also allows you to do a virtual tribute like a lay flower, light a candle or send a note.

It’s with great regret and heavy hearts that we inform you of Ned’s passing on December 25 at 12:30 pm.

The arrangements for Ned’s burial will be managed by Nikki, Ned’s niece and KD. Once we get more information about this, we will let you all know.

Ned lived a long, beautiful and courageous life. His genuine spirit attracted life long friends that created a cocoon of support for him- an exemplary form of love. Ned ate and breathed dance. His spirit will live on as infinite as the undulations in Yanvalu. We love you Ned.

Hi Dancers,
Just wanted to give an update that I spoke to Ned this week and he is doing good, staying home. We hope to see you again on a dance floor when everything reopens.

Ned turns 90 in February! 90! To celebrate his 9 decades on this earth, in which 7 of those he studied and taught dance, we are throwing a Legendary Class Party on Saturday, February 8th, from 2:30-4 pm at PMT Dance Studio. What is a Legendary Class Party? It is when ALL of Ned’s students come together and take his class. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t been to class in 30 years or if you started yesterday, we want you there. Most importantly, Ned will be so excited to have the class filled with his students! Your presence and moving body in class will be the greatest gift to Ned.

In order for this to work we need you to contact anyone that has ever been a student of Ned’s who may be out of the loop. Please let them know about the event and forward us their contact information so we can include them on any correspondence. Finally, we need you to show up to class and participate. One thing Ned never forgets is his students. He talks about those that have taken his class 10-50 years ago like it was yesterday. To have you back in class, doing the exercises and going across the floor will leave Ned surprised and overjoyed.

After class, we’ll dine at Hill Country Chicken, which is right down the block from the studio. There we’ll eat, drink and reminisce with Ned.

Let’s make this a birthday that Ned will surely remember and enjoy! We hope to see you there and look forward to hearing from everyone. Please don’t forget to spread the word by sharing this post and by forwarding us former student’s contact info to [email protected].
