Every year I pick a new word to carry with me as I pursue my goals. This year, I decided on “dedication.” I spent a lot of time in 2023 resting, resetting, and really trying to figure out what I wanted for myself. Now in 2024, I am committing to saying “yes” and not letting my fears hold me back. I am fully dedicated to my growth as an artist, singer, and vocal coach.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on here so allow me to reintroduce myself…

My name is Noa and I’m a NYC-based bilingual certified vocal coach! I have a B.A. in Music: Vocal Performance, and received my Voice Teacher Training certification from in the fall of 2021. I’m a classically trained Soprano turned Musical Theatre actor, and love to help young singers start their vocal journeys! 🥰💖

✨I’m Spanish! 🇪🇸 My parents are both from Spain and I spent every summer there growing up. I am fluent in Spanish and even have a dual citizenship!

✨I’m an actor/singer. 🎭🎶 I’ve performed at different venues around the city, and each time, it feels like I’m coming home.

✨I’m an avid reader. I am a huge fan of fantasy books (I’m looking at you, Harry Potter series 🧙🏻‍♀️), but my favorite book of all time is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. 📚 My current read is Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas!

✨I love all things mermaid. 🧜🏻‍♀️ I had a huge collection of mermaid Barbies and toys as a kid, and still collect mermaid things now. It’s no surprise that my favorite Disney princess is Ariel!

Are you having a hard time adding in vocal warm ups to your daily routine? 🤔 Here are 3 simple ways to add them in to your busy schedule!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
☀️ Your Morning Routine = Start your day off by doing some breathing exercises! 🌬️ This can be done while laying in bed when you first wake up. You can also do a facial and laryngeal massage before doing your skin care! 💆‍♀️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🧽 Washing the Dishes = Finished your morning coffee? Great! Do some lip trills as you wash your mug. ☕️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🚗 In the Car = Add some simple SOVTE’s (semi-occluded vocal tract exercises) to your daily drive to work or school. Do some humming or tongue trills to get your voice ready for the vocal load of the day! 🎶

There is no need to have a complicated singing routine to see progress. Even 5 minutes a day of a simple exercise will help your voice bloom! 💐
