Our small-but-mighty Purple Lions set off on a neighborhood adventure, this time exploring Freeman Park.

From peeking through co****le boards to taking turns tossing bean bags, our friends found creative ways to turn everyday park features into opportunities for problem-solving, and imaginative play.

Our neighborhood outings help children build confidence, strengthen social skills, and connect classroom learning to the world around them. And now we’re crossing our fingers that the community piano returns soon!

🛝 We’re always looking for new places to explore, what’s your little one’s favorite NYC park?

Some of the questions we carry as moms don’t always make it into conversation… but they’re there.

“Am I doing enough?”
“How do I find my people?”
“How do I balance all of this?”
“How do I take care of me too?”

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, join x for an intimate gathering designed for honest conversation, shared experiences, and real support. Led by psychotherapist and maternal mental health expert Elizabeth Baron, , we’ll talk about the invisible load, mom burnout, and practical ways to care for yourself while caring for everyone else.

Because motherhood wasn’t meant to be done in isolation—it was meant to be held in community.

✨The evening will also include a grounding reiki practice and reflection with Deena Gothelf, space to connect with other moms who truly get it, and a curated gift bag to take home.
✨All proceeds support Friends of New York City Nurse-Family Partnership, , uplifting mothers and the professionals who care for them.

🐥🏀Here’s your starting lineup for the New York Chicks!! (this is what happens when your Head of School is a super fan 😭)

After weeks of close observation, questioning, and caring for our eggs, we’re excited to share that 5 of our 7 chicks have officially hatched—a perfect starting 5, just in time for the Knicks’ moment.

From tracking each stage inside the incubator to tuning into a late-night live stream to witness the hatching, our children experienced the life cycle in real time.

This hands-on exploration sparked conversations about growth, patience, responsibility, and how living things change and develop.

And the learning didn’t stop there! Our students had the chance to gently hold and interact with the chicks, deepening their understanding through connection and care!

💚🌎In honor of Earth Month, our classrooms welcomed some incredible reptile ambassadors, and what better way to celebrate our planet than by getting up close with the animals who share it with us.

Roberta the red-eyed turtle, Oscar the (very expressive) bearded dragon, and Oreo the gentle, slithering snake stopped by to spend time with our Pink Pandas and Grey Elephants. What started as wide-eyed curiosity quickly turned into thoughtful observation, brave questions, and meaningful connection.

Experiences like this help children build a deeper connection to the natural world—learning to care for and respect living things, while approaching new experiences with empathy. By the end, each child had a turn using their “gentle petting fingers,” practicing kindness in action.

What a beautiful lesson proving that even the smallest moments can help grow a lifelong love for our Earth!

At Vivvi, part of our work is partnering with employers to support working parents through caregiving benefits and family programming. Today, that meant showing up in workplaces across our network to help bring “Take Your Children to Work Day” to life - and watching children see their parents as problem solvers, collaborators and role models.

It’s a meaningful reminder that supporting working families extends far beyond care alone.

The smallest items can hold the biggest meaning—whether it’s a favorite toy, a guitar, or a special photo, each one opens the door to a story, memory, or a moment of pride.

During Show & Share, our Pink Lions are learning how to put their feelings into words, growing in confidence and feeling seen, heard, and celebrated by their classroom community.
