2024年夢想家音樂藝術中心年度畫展暨音樂會 圓滿落幕！今年除了音樂和畫展，還增添了中文表演，孩子們和家長們都超級開心！

端午節是漢文化的四大節日之一，在美國的孩子們卻大部分似懂非懂，或者全然不知。節日將至，藉著一些小手工藝，我們一遍一遍的訴說端午節的故事、習俗，就像我們的祖輩、父母親，一代一代傳下來的故事，讓在美國長大的華人小孩也能感受到，這就是我們的文化。

The Duan-wu Festival (The Dragon Boat Festival, but definitely not just about the dragon boat) is one of the four major festivals in Chinese culture. The festival is approaching, we try to teach our children about the stories of the Duan-Wu festival. By teaching them made handicrafts “zhongzi” and “longzhou”, we tell the stories and customs of the festival over and over again, just like the stories passed down from generation to generation by our ancestors and parents, so that the kids learnt this is our culture!

夢想家繪畫班的小朋友，參加「紐約台灣同鄉聯誼會」舉辦的繪畫比賽，恭喜Y. Yang 榮獲幼兒組第一名，A. Song榮獲少年組第三名。繪畫比賽的題目是：未來世界。頒獎當天，紐約華僑文教中心的主任百忙中抽空來跟大家合影，並給孩子們鼓勵👏。文教中心副主任親自頒發獎狀及獎品給每一位獲獎的孩子。孩子們開心極了！

The children of the Smart Dream Art Class participated in the painting competition held by the Taiwan Benevolent Association of New York. Congratulations to Y. Yang for winning the first place in the children’s category and A. Song for winning the third place in the juvenile category. The title of the drawing competition is: Future World. On the day of the awards, the director of the “Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York” took time out of his busy schedule to take photos with everyone and encourage the children👏. The deputy director of the Cultural Center personally awarded certificates and prizes to each winning child. The children were so happy!
