La Salle Academy joins the universal Church in prayer as we mourn the passing of Pope Francis, the 266th successor of St. Peter. A humble shepherd and tireless advocate for peace, mercy, and justice, his legacy will continue to inspire the faithful around the world.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

The students attended mass today and were thankful to spend the evening in church. The boys have been participating in prayer circles, making today even more special.. Happy Easter from Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Our Juniors were invited to attend Dr. Richard Barnett Foundation exclusive luncheon. The students had an opportunity to meet New York Knicks legends John Starks and Senator Bill Bradley! Thank you and for the experience.

Thank you to St. John’s Tobin School of Business who gave our Junior class a tour of their beautiful Astor Place campus. The boys learned about their state of the art of business program, campus life, and met with current students and staff, including Tobin’s Dean, Maciek Nowak! They even had the chance to sit in on a sample lecture provided by Professor Mark J. Browne!

This morning, La Salle Academy alumni Ramik Williams ’97, Omar Miller ‘99, Carlos V. ’97, and Francisco Gonzalez ’97 were present to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. We congratulate the Police Athletic League of New York City for their 110 years of service to the youth of New York City and this terrific opportunity!

Last night, we honored all the senior athletes on the Varsity Basketball Team during our last home game of the season, where we celebrated a great win. These young men have shown remarkable dedication and achievement throughout the season.

Today, our Seniors attended a Career Panel at Nike Headquarters, where they explored various fields such as Sales/Marketing, Social Media, Communication, Social Impact, Creative and Design, and Human Resources. We extend our gratitude to and the Dr. Richard Barnett Foundation for the invitation and this valuable opportunity.
