I will be honest here - I got lots of DMs during the chop about the markets “dropping”, “recession coming”, and why I was alerting calls instead of puts. My job as a trader includes many things but simplicity of the system is paramount - ignore the FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt), watch the price action and support areas, and know that the market is saying something every time it bounces from those areas. The most important piece of the puzzle is risk rewards and position sizing. I always tell people “don’t risk 10 to make 2, risk 2 to make 10.” We knew where the big trades were and we did good to hold on to our trades during the chop and add on chances we got. For small accounts, remember to protect your account during market chops, trade small, and make 10 from 2 and not the other way round. Get yourself paid! @ New York, New York
