Summer Fun with a French Accent!

We offer a fun and intensive week of educational experience through a hands-on study of French and American vernacular and culture. This program is designed for toddlers aged 3 to 5. We offer the best educational environment for children to practice and learn French in small groups with native French instructors. Students have many opportunities throughout the day to practice the skills they learn

in class as they meet new friends and explore the enriching culture of France. The camp is designed for French speaking and non-French speaking children. Week-long sessions of French immersion 6 hours per day; participation in numerous, creative and fun activities are fostered in French. The curriculum will also comprise of sports, swimming, games, cooking, painting, arts and crafts, singing and observation of French music and instruments taught by a professional opera singer. In addition, each week will include a Chinese (Mandarin) music class. The camp will take place in the Schoolhouse of Ecole Internationale de New York located on Park Avenue between 21st and 22nd Street, just a few steps away from the subway station (23rd Street, line 6). Please enroll early as space is limited and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Families have the option to choose any or all of the five weeks that the camp is open. DATES

DAILY PROGRAMS
• 8:30-9:00am – Bonjour Program (Welcome of students - Optional)
• 9:00am-3:00pm – Summer Camp Program
• 3:00pm -5:30pm – Childcare Program (optional)

TUITION
• $575 per week including snacks and all learning materials
• $2,875 package deal for all five weeks
• A non-refundable $100 tuition deposit is due at the time of enrollment. The remaining balance is due on May 10, 2012 or at the time of enrollment if it is after May 10th. Note: If your child is absent, we will not be able to extend make-up classes. The missed days will not be refunded. LUNCH
Lunch is not provided. Each child must bring his/her lunchbox. Food can be heated in a microwave. SUMMER CAMP VENUE:

Bleu-­‐Blanc-­‐Rouge French summer camp provides a friendly, fun, and supportive environment through its recreational and enrichment program. It is offered in French for children aged 3-­‐7.
The 5-­‐week summer camp will offer art activities, crafts, science, cooking, field trips, sport, architecture, yoga, and much more.

Just for you: Monthly French playdates & networking

I am a mother of five-year-old trilingual twin girls, in addition to my career as an art dealer, chairwoman of Taste of France, and founder of a French summer camp. I invite you and your children to join us for a series of fun, educational playdates that celebrate our French culture, and discuss the challenges of raising small bi and tri lingual children in New York City. Bring your friends, and grandparents, and children from infants to 7 years old.

Our new series of interactive play dates will feature music, lectures, and sport one Sunday a month this spring. Through music, literature, and playing, we will encourage French language skills in a fun setting. Every date will include 40 minutes of networking and conversation, 20 minutes of singing and reading, and free playtime. In order to create different age-appropriate reading groups, I am looking for parents to assist with reading.

The playdates will take place in a large room EINY has offered. For those unfamiliar with EINY, I will be happy to give you a tour of the school. Cheese, crackers, and refreshments will be offered. We suggest a $10 donation

The playdates will take place the following days: Sunday March 31, April 21, May 19, and June 9 from 3:00-5:15 pm. Please RSVP at [email protected].

It will be a fun, bilingual environment for children to socialize and learn new skills. We are creating small groups of 3 and 4 year olds and another for 5 - 6.8 years old.
