We are pleased to share that Dr. David Luu (), member of the BMEII Advisory Board, has been appointed Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic, Molecular and Interventional Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. 

Dr. Luu is a trained pediatric cardiac surgeon, longevity tech entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the founder of , the world’s leading longevity medicine network, .app , the AI education platform, and the founding chairman of The Heart Fund, delivering cardiac care in developing countries.

On July 8, we welcomed 14 incredible volunteers at our in-person kickoff in the BMEII Large Conference Room!

We’re proud to celebrate Dr. Priti Balchandani, PhD, Associate Director of the BioMedical Engineering and Imaging Institute, on being named the Mount Sinai Endowed Professor of Engineering Medicine.

The endowed chair ceremony, held on March 3, 2025, recognized Dr. Balchandani’s groundbreaking contributions to neuroimaging and engineering medicine.
