📚 Our middle school students had the wonderful opportunity to meet author and explore A Home for Every Family—a story that celebrates belonging, kindness, and inclusion.

Through storytelling and meaningful conversation, our students were encouraged to reflect, ask questions, and connect with the power of books.

A special thank you to for sharing your story and inspiring our students, and to .nyc for partnering with us to bring this meaningful author visit to our middle school community.

We are grateful for opportunities that foster literacy, empathy, and a lifelong love of reading.

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July!

✨ Starting in July by getting to know the people who make OWNCS special.

Meet Ms. Albanese, our Special Education Coordinator. Inspired by her younger sister's journey, she discovered her passion for helping students with diverse learning needs and has dedicated her career to supporting their growth, confidence, and independence.

Now completing her first year at OWNCS, Ms. Albanese continues to partner with students, families, and educators to ensure every child has the support they need to thrive.

Welcome to the OWNCS community, Ms. Albanese—we're grateful to have you on the team!
