Allied Artists of America 110th show. I am pleased to have my work included and invite you all to the Allied Artists of America exhibition reception at the Butler Institute of American Art on Saturday September 9th 1-3pm, awards will be presented at 2pm. Please feels free to share the invitation. The exhibition will be on view September 10th -October 8th

My work has been included in the Bethel Council of the Arts show from May 13th to July 2nd.

It occurred to me while at the hairdressers, that the collar or decorative headdress found on religious statues was similar to the warming device found in a hairdressing salon. Here I am sitting beneath one getting baked. Scroll left to see comparison.
I used Micron pens in orange and brown on moleskin smooth paper sketch book.
