Summer - NYU Journalism With NYU Precollege, rising juniors and seniors can apply to take college-level courses for credit and experience life as an NYU student.

Craigh Barboza — whose "Film Journalism" course (Summer Session 1) is designed for students to develop a critical understanding of the art form and practice various forms of writing about movies — recently wrote about the new film "Judas and the Black Messiah" for The Los Angeles Times. The "fiery and fiercely original" drama, about an FBI snitch and a slain 1960s Black Panther leader, is expected to be among this year's Oscar contenders.
