Our learning center program seeks a talented tutor who has knowledge of the NYC curriculum to teach writing to grades 5-8. The tutor must be good at English, have excellent writing skills. They must be good with communication, have an enthusiasm for teaching, and enjoy working with children. The tutor will work with students in a small group setting (no more than 4 students)

This is a part-time position, so the applicant must be available during the weekend and 1-2 weekdays. Hours will be after 4pm on weekdays; weekend hours will be 9 am-4 pm [Saturday]

Experience is not necessary, but applicants with previous teaching experience is a plus. There will be a training period if accepted.

Dear Parents,

Last weekend, the Mayor announced that schools will remain closed and re-open in September. Due to this news, I am sure that we are all concerned with how students will be able to engage with the common core curriculum in this new learning environment.

IC Center has created a new course for grades 3-8 so that they may have that extra review so they don’t fall behind with their coursework. The class will be held on Saturdays’ for 3 hrs. The class will cover common core material on reading, writing, and math. The price for remote learning is $600, and we will offer one free trial class on April 25th.

We will be accepting payment through quickpay, Zelle or PayPal. If you are having a hard time with the online payment, please contact us to arrange for an in-person pick-up as long as it is before April 25th.

State test 2019 scores came out yesterday for G3-G8! You can view your child’s score at mystudent.nyc and it’s under Assessment tab.
