Be part of history this weekend! The inaugural Signature Basketball Classic MLK Tip Off is finally here. We are kicking off a brand new tradition at New Design Middle School starting this Friday, Jan 16. Come watch the best 4th-6th grade teams in NYC battle it out all weekend!

Leaving it all on the track. 👟✨ One of our own battled through a high-stakes qualifier yesterday, running a season-best time with total professionalism. The results didn't go our way this time, but the future is incredibly bright for this athlete. Go NDMS! 🏃‍♂️📈

Huge thanks to our community for donating! Our Student Ambassadors' leadership made the Hurricane Melissa collection a success. Donations are prepped for shipment to Jamaica!

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the rich cultures, languages, and traditions that come from Latin America, Spain, and the Caribbean. It’s also a time to recognize the leaders, artists, writers, and heroes who have inspired us all.
Each student shared a short poem about an important figure from a different Hispanic country. These poems highlight their strength, creativity, and the impact they’ve had on the world.

Senior Breakfast was a success! 🎓 Our students tackled the HS application process and had great conversations with reps from high schools across the city. Thanks to everyone who came out to support our amazing seniors!

Huge thanks to our community for coming to our 3rd Annual Back to School Event. We loved sharing a day of fun, food, and games while giving out free school supplies and book bags to our students. Shoutout to our sponsors for a wonderful day. Here’s to a great school year!
