Moozika

Moozika Moozika! is an award-winning music program for children ages newborn to five years old and their adu Moove to the Moozika!!

Moozika!'s lively forty-five minute classes promote children’s musicality and development through singing, dancing, and playing instruments (shakers, bells, drums, and more.) classes move through a dynamic mix of timeless kids’ songs, classic popular tunes, and original material written by its founder, Jesse Goldman. Puppets, a giant parachute, dancing scarves, children’s stories, and other props create a playful and age-appropriate learning environment. Additionally, because our curriculum includes songs in multiple languages (principally English, Spanish, and French), children (and adults) in our classes have the opportunity to encounter new languages along the way. classes are taught with an ethos of gentleness in safe, clean, and nurturing spaces for babies and toddlers. Our goal is to develop in children a life-long love of music and a sense of their own creativity.

Angered to learn that all 5 of the Grammy nominees for Best Children's Album are white and only one is female. Whaaaat?! Come on folks! I stand with Family Music Forward's call for the Recording Academy to end racist and sexist practices immediately.
