Our 4th & 5th grade students showcased their creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking during our S.T.R.E.A.M. Project Display inspired by The Sign of the Beaver! 🌲🦫📚

From building detailed cabin models to connecting Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics, students brought their learning to life through hands-on projects and meaningful presentations.

We are so proud of the hard work, imagination, and dedication our students demonstrated throughout this exciting interdisciplinary experience!

Our 6th graders celebrated their argumentative writing pieces by presenting their claims, supporting evidence, and thoughtful reasoning to their classmates! 📚✨

Students also practiced giving meaningful “glow and grow” feedback — highlighting strengths while offering ideas for improvement. We are so proud of their confidence, collaboration, and growth as writers and speakers! 👏

Our DOE 4K students celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a very special classroom guest — Teddy’s dad! 📚✨

Through three wonderful read-alouds — Amy Wu and the Patchwork Dragon, Eyes That Kiss in the Corners, and Twelve in a Race — students explored stories celebrating culture, identity, family, and perseverance. They even learned a few Chinese words along the way, including “little sister,” “grandma,” and “dragon”! 🐉

Throughout the month of May, we take time to celebrate our Blessed Mother Mary and all the moms and mother figures who fill our lives with so much love, joy, kindness, and faith. 💙🌸

May reminds us of Mary’s gentle spirit and unconditional love — qualities we see reflected each day in the incredible mothers within our community. We are grateful for all they do to guide, support, and inspire us.

Our youngest learners at the Early Childhood Campus learned about the Ascension of Jesus Christ and the importance of His return to Heaven to be with God. ✨☁️ The Ascension reminds us that Jesus promised to always be with us and guide us in faith and love.

To bring the lesson to life, students created a special activity helping Jesus “ascend” to Heaven while reflecting on this meaningful moment in our Catholic faith. 💙🙏

📚❤️ Students across all 3 campuses, from PreK through 8th grade, came together for a special Buddy Reading Day! Older and younger students paired up to share stories, practice reading skills, build friendships, and foster a love of literacy throughout our school community.
