I get questions from students asking what should I do if I scored poorly on my exams. My response is always the same:
️⃣Look forward not back, you didn’t score how you wanted to and that sucks, but dwelling on it only guarantees you’ll score poorly in the future.
️⃣Suck it up and figure out what went wrong. Painful as it is to comb through your mistakes, it’s key to learning and preventing yourself from making the same error in the future.
️⃣Evaluate your study methods because everyone learns a little differently. Face it, What works for the hotshots scoring 275 on an hour of sleep might not work for us mortals. Be it adding in flashcards to your routine, or listening to LectureKeepr on the go to maximize your free time, don’t be afraid to switch up your routine.
️⃣Be your own cheerleader. People don’t get into medical school by accident, it takes hard work and dedication to do what you do. Don’t let one bad grade wreck your whole outlook on life. You’re awesome, take time to remind yourself of that every day - Aaron Brown, LK Co-Founder
