Kids Rule Fridays at camp 😍! Our mini-explorers got to choose their adventure, and they're diving into whales 🐳 and rocking the world of geology 🌎! We make learning fun!

This Black History Month, our campers are learning about powerful changemakers who helped shape our world 🌍✨

We explored the life of Garrett Morgan – inventor of the modern traffic signal 🚦 and a safety hood that helped save lives. His innovation still guides us safely through our streets every day!

We also learned about Lewis Latimer, who improved the light bulb and made it more practical and affordable for homes around the world 💡 His work helped bring light into millions of households.

And we discovered the creativity of Jean-Michel Basquiat, a groundbreaking artist whose bold artwork continues to inspire generations 🎨🖌️

At UMAP, we believe in teaching our campers about leaders, innovators, and artists who made history and continue to inspire the future. Representation matters. Education empowers!
