Drawing New York is an in-person drawing school based in Manhattan, New York. We have over 10,000 members and meet several times a week for figure drawing classes. This group is for you if you have been wanting to get back to your drawing, start drawing or improve your drawing skills. The goal of this group is to get people drawing and to help them make "real and tangible" progress with their work. In 2020 we started our online school Drawing America which quickly grew to over 4,000 members and is still growing strong. We create educational content for cultural and educational institutions both in person and online. Some our clients include The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Morgan Library and Museum, The Museum of The City of New York, The Cooper Hewitt Museum, The Museum of Art and Design and even Blizzard Entertainment. Our members include, professional artists, absolute beginners, people who haven't drawn in years and people who draw every week. Run by artist Simon Levenson who teaches drawing at The Morgan Library and Museum, The Museum of The City of New York and The Arts Students League of New York City.
