We love working with you Jerome. Thank you for sharing your experience at the Open Salon: Summer Jam with all of us!
07/30/2024
On Thursday, August 1st, New York Theatre Workshop, Poetic Theater Productions, and FABnyc present an Open Salon, in which our hyper-local LES community and artists from throughout the city can come together in celebration of live performance.
For these Open Salons, 4th Street between 2nd and Bowery is blocked to allow folks to watch performances on the street, dance to music, and simply gather as a community. The event is free for all and creates space for all participating artists to share work with others.
The theme is simply "Summer Jam".
We are looking for original music, songs, poetry, spoken word, story-telling, drag, and all forms of performance. All languages, backgrounds, and identities are welcome!
WHAT: Community Open Salon
WHEN: Thursday, August 1
TIME: 5:30pm to 7:00pm
WHERE: 4th Street opposite of NYTW
If you are interested in sharing work with the community, you may sign up here: https://forms.gle/P5Y41PWiPE9iVWhP9
Please note that we have a limited number of slots. Performers aren't confirmed unless they receive an email from NYTW or Poetic Theater Productions.
If you would like to simply attend, there is no need to RSVP.
