Our Bumblebees students continued to learn about summer foods that keep us cool. ☀️
For this activity the bees rolled a dice and count what number it lands on and place that number of lemons and limes in the bowl!! Students create comparisons between both citrus fruit and gain cognitive and math skills by counting! 🍋

This week the Bumblebee students are learning about ice cream/watermelon. The bees created their own watermelon using various materials such as paper plates, pink and green tissue paper, and glue. Student are enhancing their literacv skills as they learn W is for watermelon. Students are also practicing color recognition, fine motor skill, eye-hand coordination, and creativity. 🍉

In this activity the Bumblebee students were able to count the sprinkles on the ice cream 🍨 and match it to the ice cream cone 🍦Students practice basic math, fine motor and hand-eye coordination.

Today our Tumble Tots were introduced to lemons 🍋 and limes! They each took turns holding a lemon and feeling its texture.
Our tots are simply the zest! ☺️🍋

This week our Bumblebees learned about the sun. During this alphabet sun match activity students were able to match the upper case alphabet using the sun rays to the lower case alphabet that were on the sun. Students practice fine motor skills, literacy skills and hand-eye coordination. ☀️🐝

Due to the unprecedented ongoing air quality issues the NYC area is having, we will be closed today as well.
We should and are hopeful to re-open on Monday. Please be safe.

Due to the poor air quality in the NY area, The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an air quality health advisory until Thursday midnight. In light of this, and with the best interest of our children and staff in mind, Kid Krazy will be closed tomorrow (Thursday, June 8th) and anticipate to reopen on Friday.
Please stay indoors if possible. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Friday. Again, if any other developments occur, we will notify everyone as soon as possible.

Today, our bumblebees students were introduced to our new unit: zoo/wild animals! 🦊🐼🐵🐆🦧
Things the class discussed:
-Who has gone to the zoo?
-Zoo starts with the letter z
-The kinds of animals we see at the zoo
Bees were asked to help identify different zoo animals and match to the zoo animal card! The bees had lots of fun sharing which animal was their favorite to see!

This week our Bumblebees students are learning about zoo animals 🦁🐯🐼🐒After reading the very hungry caterpillar the bees were able to play this sequence game.
The bees were able to count and sort the food the caterpillar 🐛ate in order. Students practice fine motor skills and improve their literacy skills. They also enhance hand-eye coordination and color recognition.
