Crack your heart open!
It’s in pain that we find our heart.
The breaking of the heart is the breaking of the shell that protected us. Every time you break your heart you’re opening it a little more to love and inner understanding of self.
You’re never loosing yourself when you’re in love. You’re actually opening the door to loving yourself even more. What we’re experiencing in love is the loving of ourselves in the other.
The heart always breaks and in breaking it can find wholeness.

COFFEE ☕️ OR TEA 🫖 FOR YOU?
Do you have a morning ritual when you wake up? What do you prefer as your morning beverage? How do you start your day?
*
I quit my job and coffee at the same time.
*
Something told me I have to take care of my health and my body.
*
I wake up and just linger in bed for a bid to remember my dreams and see what comes up.
*
I have a full glass of water next to my bed to hydrate in the morning and wake up my metabolism.
*
Then I sit for a 45 minute long meditation 🧘🏼♀️ to bring myself into focus and come down any thoughts that I awoke with. I’m not sure how about you, but my mind is super active in the morning. Too much going on at once. It’s like all the circuits flair up post sleep and compete for take over of my consciousness.
*
But the most fun part is making mocha latte 🍵 after my meditation and writing in my journal 📔 . This is when I’m pretty much fully awake and relaxed. This is when I’ve let go of any shadow of the night that still been lingering and just enjoy my morning break before I start working. Although work is no longer “the work,” I still need a break from that constant expansion and forming of self that I’ve been experiencing for the last six month.
*
It’s been fun but not so easy. I sometimes sit in the wonder of how much certainty and trust I have within. I know I’m okay and everything will unfold in it’s own timing. The practice of presence and learning how to trust, primarily in myself, is paving the way and paying off.
*
Now I get to enjoy that bitter sweet, velvet taste of mocha on my tongue, softness in body and feeling of open wonder for life’s multitude possibilities coming my way.
