Why is the UK the best country to travel to for further studies post-pandemic?
By: Chinmayee Rout
Others may find studying abroad to be a frightening experience. However, once you've overcome your fear, you'll realise that relocating to another nation might be the most acceptable decision you've ever made. It will not only motivate you to accomplish and be better, but it will also help you develop social skills, gain independence, broaden your horizons, and improve your relationship-building abilities. In addition, it may assist you in finding work anywhere on the planet!
Even though the epidemic is still ongoing, many of these benefits are still accessible in many nations, including the United Kingdom! The United Kingdom, as an international educational centre, has a wide range of excellent universities and institutes for overseas students. In addition, the United Kingdom is home to four of the oldest universities in the English-speaking world.
The University of Bristol, for example, has a global reputation for doing world-class research. In the QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings 2021, the United Kingdom is rated second after the United States. Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, and Nigerian students are all affected. Every year, around 400,000 international students travel to the United Kingdom to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
In the United Kingdom, over 1000 legally recognised institutions provide full course degrees in subjects such as architecture, arts, medicine, law, industry, and IT/computer science. So, if you're still on the fence about studying in the UK, we've put together a short but sweet essay that demonstrates why studying in the UK may be the most acceptable decision you'll ever make.
Universities in the United Kingdom have reacted to the Covid-19 epidemic, ensuring that student safety remains a primary concern while providing the world-class education for which the United Kingdom is recognised. Every UK institution offers dedicated professionals to assist international students at every stage of their journey: from application to travel preparation to arrival and support during their time at university.
Health and wellbeing
Studying in the UK is extraordinarily safe and secure, with one of the most effective healthcare systems in the world, globally regarded policing, and low crime rates. The NHS (National Health Service) is one of the most advanced healthcare systems globally, providing safe and cutting-edge care. Each educational institution offers excellent and comprehensive support to students in the areas of mental health and wellness. In addition, all overseas students have access to the NHS. Applicants must pay the Immigration Health Surcharge as part of their student visa application.
Visas
To study in the United Kingdom, the majority of overseas students require a student visa. It's simple to find out if you need access to study.
You can still familiarise yourself with UK visa requirements if your local Visa Application Centre is closed due to Covid-19 limitations. We recommend that you speak with your university about the English language proof you'll need for your visa application. Universities can utilise various evidence to demonstrate English language competency if your local English language testing centre is closed.
Please keep in mind that various colleges have different criteria, so double-check with yours to see what kind of English language proof you'll need.
Travel
Remember to verify travel advice in your local nation before making travel arrangements. It's understood how intimidating it might be to move to a new country. However, universities are working hard to make sure you know what to anticipate before you fly to the UK and that you are welcomed and supported by your chosen institution once you arrive. Please contact your institution to learn more about how they may assist you.
How can Amberstudent help you?
We at AmberStudent are devoted to giving you the best experience and option for student accommodation worldwide because we understand its value. We have updated ourselves with the latest COVID-19 policies and would be more than eager to assist you in those.

The current FUA-AUF pandemic protocol (Spring-Summer 21) measures remain as standby contingency guidelines should a need arise to activate any of the items cited in compliance with the Italian government. Any contingency plan updates for Fall 21 will be shared with partners in the month of July.
We are also happy to highlight the recent improvements in global mobility, in particular the special travel entry update for citizens of the US, Canada, and Japan who are fully exempt from quarantine upon entry as long as one of the three conditions are fulfilled:
1) EMA-approved vaccination
2) A negative Antigen, PCR, or Molecular test result from a test taken within 48 hours of arrival in Italy.
3) Certificate of recovery from Covid dated no more than 6 months before arrival in Italy.
This update is active as of June 21 and slated for further expansion from July 30th.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in Florence!

We are pleased to announce that Tuscany has officially entered the "white zone category" in Italy. As per the government guidance released for this category and the current status of Italian regions:
The national curfew has been waived.
All sectors are operating according to normal hours.
Unrestricted travel in Italy.
The national mask mandate is in place for public spaces and is scheduled to be revised for eliminating masks outdoors on June 28th.
Anti-Covid measures for the white zones aim to maintain health safety through:
Usage of masks outside of one's residence when social distancing is less than a meter.
Sanitary practices in commercial, professional, and educational spaces such as facility sanitation, temperature checks, and hand hygiene.
Contact us at [email protected] if you want to study in Tuscany!
