🌟 STARTING THE YEAR STRONG AT SCB! 💙💛

Our 7th and 8th grade students came together to kick off the year with purpose! 🙌🏽

Using our SCB Root Beliefs and Core Values, students collaborated to define what it LOOKS LIKE, SOUNDS LIKE, and FEELS LIKE to be a St. Charles Borromeo student.

They reflected on what it means to live out our core values every day:

Small groups mean more opportunities to learn, ask questions, practice new skills, and build confidence—one little Lion at a time!

What an amazing way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year! 💙💛

From our littlest learners in PreK enjoying popsicles 🍦 to students across the building reconnecting with friends, meeting new classmates, getting to know their teachers, and settling into their classrooms—the excitement was everywhere!

The smiles said it all: our students were HAPPY to be back at SCB! 🥰📚

Today was just the beginning. We’re ready for a year filled with learning, growth, faith, friendship, and so many special moments.

Lighting Up Our Last Summer Fun Day!

What a SWEET way to wrap up summer! Our middle school students came together for our final Summer Fun Day and learned the art of candle making! 🕯️

From choosing their scents to creating their own candles, our students had the chance to get creative, try something new, and enjoy some well-deserved fun with their friends.

🎨✨ Summer Fun Day #3 was a colorful success! ✨🎨

Today, our 3rd through 5th graders came together to Paint & Mingle! 🖌️🎨 Students let their creativity shine while reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and enjoying a fun-filled morning together.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, creativity, and fellowship—and they had an AMAZING time! ❤️

We love creating opportunities for our students to stay connected and build community even before the school year begins.

Hoy, nuestros estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado se reunieron para ¡Pintar y Compartir! 🖌️🎨 Nuestros estudiantes dejaron volar su creatividad mientras se reencontraban con viejos amigos, hacían nuevas amistades y disfrutaban juntos de una mañana llena de diversión.

☀️🎨 Summer Fun Day #2 was a colorful success! 🌈

Today, our 1st and 2nd graders came together for a morning filled with friends, laughter, creativity, and tie-dye fun! ❤️💛💙💚

Our Summer Fun Days are all about giving our students a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and get excited about being back together at St. Charles Borromeo! 🦁❤️

From mixing colors to creating their own one-of-a-kind tie-dye designs, our students had a blast! We love seeing our halls filled with smiles again.

✨ Two Summer Fun Days down… and there’s more fun to come! Stay tuned!

🍪📚 Our First Summer Fun Day Was SWEET! ☀️❤️

Our youngest learners kicked off our St. Charles Summer Fun Days with an afternoon full of stories, smiles, and a little something sweet!

📖 Our Assistant Principal, Ms. Freeman, treated our students to a special read-aloud of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Then, our little learners became bakers and made their very own delicious cookies! 🍪👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

There’s nothing better than bringing a great book to life while learning, creating, and having FUN with friends! ❤️

And this is only the beginning… stay tuned for more Summer Fun Days at St. Charles! ☀️🎨🎉

🍪📚 ¡Nuestro primer Día de Diversión de Verano fue muy DULCE! ☀️❤️

¡Nuestros estudiantes más pequeños dieron inicio a los Días de Diversión de Verano de St. Charles con una tarde llena de cuentos, sonrisas y algo muy dulce!

We are serving up new skills this summer!  Our rising 7th and 8th graders had an incredible time at a Pickleball Clinic with CityPickle

From learning the fundamentals to building confidence on the court, our students embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Experiences like these remind us that learning extends far beyond the classroom. We’re grateful to CityPickle for creating a fun, engaging environment where our students could stay active, try something new, and make lasting summer memories.
