๐ป๐ฎ Coding Creativity on Display at St. Charles Borromeo! ๐ค๐
As we wrap up another incredible school year, we are celebrating the amazing work our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students accomplished in Coding Class!
Throughout the year, students learned the fundamentals of coding using Scratch, tackling increasingly complex challenges involving animations, game design, and problem-solving. From classic favorites like Snake and Brick Breaker to original creations of their own, our students showed creativity, perseverance, and innovation every step of the way.
A special shout-out goes to 6th grader Naika, who designed an impressive Pizza Maker Game, and 7th grader Summer, who created a fun and interactive Mad Libs Project. We are so proud of their hard work and creativity!
Students also explored the world of robotics through Edison programmable robots, learning how to code movement, music, racing challenges, and more while bringing their programming skills to life.
Congratulations to all of our middle school coders for a fantastic year of learning, creating, and innovating! The future is bright for these young programmers! ๐๐ป

๐๐ Today marked the last day of school for the St. Charles Borromeo Class of 2026! ๐๐
Our seniors spent their final day giving back to the school community through service, assisting in classrooms throughout the building and serving as role models for our younger students. Their day concluded with a special schoolwide clap-out, as students and staff lined the halls to celebrate their accomplishments and wish them well on their next journey.
Tomorrow, they will walk across the stage as graduates and officially become St. Charles Borromeo alumni. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the world.

๐ฅ๐ฏ๏ธ Passing the Torch of Leadership ๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฅ
Today, our 8th graders proudly passed the Torch of Leadership to our 7th graders, symbolizing the transition of leadership within the St. Charles Borromeo community.
The torch represents the values that guide us each dayโintegrity, hard work, and service. As our 8th graders prepare to begin a new chapter, they entrust these important traditions and responsibilities to the Class of 2027.
We are incredibly proud of our 7th graders and know they will lead with the same dedication, kindness, and commitment that have defined those who came before them. Congratulations on accepting this honor and responsibility. Your time to shine has arrived! โจ

๐ฌ๐งช Science in Action in 5th Grade! ๐งช๐ฌ
Our 5th graders put their scientific thinking to the test during their โWhatโs in the Bag?โ investigation as part of their study of Structures and Properties of Matter.
Students explored an important scientific question: When two substances are mixed together in a closed system, do they create a new substance? Through observation, prediction, experimentation, and evidence-based discussions, our young scientists analyzed changes in matter and drew conclusions from their findings.
Hands-on investigations like these help students develop critical thinking skills while bringing science concepts to life. We are so proud of their curiosity, teamwork, and commitment to discovery!
