Lee Academia will be nominating one (1) NY high school senior starting college in the Fall of 2017 for the 2017 NYSACAC Scholarship.

Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to four deserving students who have overcome barriers, succeeded with limited resources or is under-represented.

Eligible students must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be a resident of New York State
• Have/Will Be:
º Graduated from a New York State public or private secondary school; or
º Completed a home-schooled program in New York State; or
º Obtained a GED
• Be nominated by a NYSACAC member
• Enroll in a 2 or 4-year undergraduate program beginning Fall of 2017 at a NYSACAC member college or university within New York State (the award recipient will be expected to provide official proof of matriculation)
• Have submitted an application and essay by Friday May 5, 2017.
