St. Joseph Hill Academy Elementary School proudly celebrated our (belated) Annual Distinguished Graduate Mass honoring Dr. Michelle Giumenta, D.D.S. (ES ’83 & HS ’87, Parent ES ’16 & ’19, HS ’23)
A dedicated pediatric dentist with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Giumenta has built a career defined by compassionate care, leadership in the dental community, and a deep commitment to mentoring the next generation. She established her own practice, has taught at Staten Island University Hospital, and earned recognition for her humanitarian impact. Dr. Giumenta continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many children.
We are especially grateful for the way Dr. Giumenta gives back to Hill over the years. She makes an annual visit to our Pre-K classrooms to share the importance of healthy dental habits and remains a constant and joyful presence in our community.
Thank you to Reverend Michael Martine of Holy Rosary for celebrating this special Mass with us and for reminding us of our call to be a light in the darkness.
Dr. Giumenta’s heartfelt remarks, surrounded by her family and loved ones, including a lifelong friend she met right here at Hill, were a beautiful reflection of the lasting bonds formed within our school. She encouraged students to thank their parents for sending them to SJHA.
We are so proud to honor Dr. Giumenta and grateful for alumni who lead with compassion, give back generously, and serve as inspiring examples for our students each day. 💙
