Members of Hopewell Care joined EQuality HomeCare Co-op, and Via Verde to facilitate a workshop at the National Domestic Workers Alliance Assembly in Las Vegas on what its like to start and maintain a worker cooperative. We had a great turnout, so exciting to learn about the other NDWA affiliates exploring cooperative development with their members!

We are inspired by Hopewell Care member Namrata who testified yesterday at City Hall in support of Intro 339, an amendment to the New York City Human Rights Law that would include domestic workers in protections from workplace discrimination. Thank you Namrata and all the workers, organizers, and allies who came out in support!
