Other schools are the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki (Finland) and Schulich School of Music of McGill University (Canada), hosted by the National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts.

This Friday at noon, Manhattan School of Music will participate in the 3rd annual Northern Cadence International Jazz Series, a special series of mini jazz concerts from three schools from different countries! Other schools are the The Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki (Finland) and Schulich School of Music of McGill University (Canada), hosted by the National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts. Alexander Shelley, conductor of the National Arts Centre Orchestra | l'Orchestre du Centre national des Arts connected with Manhattan School of Music students last year to discuss the life of being an orchestral musician. In this clip from a conversation with MSM faculty member Jessica Phillips, in collaboration with MSM's Center for Career Readiness & Community Impact, he speaks to the importance of mental health as a musician.
Last Spring Manhattan School of Music Musical Theatre students connected with Daniel Bowling, Musical Theatre chair at the Royal Academy of Music. This was the first Distance Learning master class for our students and we look forward to many more in the future!
