The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed a contested terrain of competing data and narratives about how to understand science and social behavior in the face of enormous uncertainty. As a way to chronicle and analyze the turbulent events and thinking of this time, ICI Co-Directors Mark Frazier and Manjari Mahajan, together with Professor and Director of the Julien J. Studley Graduate Programs In International Affairs Sakiko Fukuda-Parr, have launched Pandemic Discourses. The blog aims to foster an interdisciplinary and global dialogue on the many dimensions of COVID-19.

The fellowship provides six New School grad or undergrad students with a $3,000 grant to support independent research projects or to cover the cost of attending a New School program in India or China. The funds can be used towards expenses such as airfare, local transportation, room and board or interpreters. DEADLINE November 10th. A university student in South Africa who discovered an erroneous deposit of $1 million in her financial aid account spent more than $60,000 of the fortune before authorities realized the mistake, school officials said.
